Standard charcoal filters should be replaced approximately every 6 months or more frequently if the hood is used intensively. The charcoal filter saturates after more or less prolonged use, depending on the type of cooking and how regularly you use your hood. In any case, it is necessary to replace the filter at least every 6 months. The standard charcoal filter CANNOT be washed or regenerated.
